I love a good Christmas party! LOVE IT! Getting together with friends, eating some great food and being thankful for the year’s many blessings- what’s not to love?
Well for one, trying to find something to wear! It’s tough to figure out what “formal”, “semi-formal”, and the truly difficult “semi-casual” actually mean anymore. These days, it can be hard to tell what those definitions actually look like and what to shop for.
So I’ve taken the liberty of breaking it all down for you so you’ll never have to say “I feel sooooo over/underdressed!” Below are 9 awesome examples you can find right now at The Streets at Southpoint, perfect for ANY party!
First up, FORMAL.
I wanted to find some examples that were NOT your average little black dress. Let’s face it: we already all have one of those. And if you don’t, put it on your wish list for the year!
Ok, now that we have the formalities out of the way, lets focus on the bulk of the dress codes we’ll have to worry about: SEMI-FORMAL. This is always a tricky one because we don’t want to dress up too much, but also don’t want to look like a mess either! These three examples are ones I really love.
Casual is easy to define. Own some jeans? You’re ready. But SEMI-CASUAL is a little bit more, well, it’s just MORE. It’s not what you would wear to a formal event or even to a really nice dinner party, but also not what you would wear to go watch a movie at a friend’s house. It’s the kind of outfit for a close group of friends to get together for a night. These three examples are all very stylish but also fun, easy and comfortable!
There you have it! Three different dress-codes for your holiday party season! Remember that I’m here to help you get the most out of your holiday shopping, so let me know if you need ANY help finding a great gift or an even better outfit! I’ll have more awesome gift ideas coming up soon, so subscribe to the blog and keep coming back!
