YOGA FANS REJOICE! Lulu lemon is here!
Luulemon Athletica — a yoga-inspired athletic apparel company that makes technical athletic apparel for yoga, running, dancing and most other sweaty pursuits — is now open at The Streets at Southpoint, in the shop next to Free People. The company, based out of Vancouver, sells both men’s and women’s yoga and running products. Lululemon’s philosophy and mission is based on creating components for people to live long, healthy and fun lives. It’s not just a clothing store, it’s a way of life!
So, what sets Lululemon apart from other companies (besides the quality clothing and the top notch employees)?
Lululemon offers FREE YOGA CLASSES!!!
Lululemon has strong ties to our local community and not only offers free yoga classes, but also hosts events all year long ranging from self-defense to goal-setting workshops.
In fact, this weekend on Sunday, the 24th is the Yoga Mala for the Africa Yoga Project.
Celebrate the summer solstice with a traditional Yoga Mala, and help support the Africa Yoga Project! The amazing team of instructors at Franklin Street Yoga will lead in 108 sun salutations, honoring summer, community, and service. The event starts at 1:00 PM and will go until 3:30, with a potluck to follow!

I really love the healthy, hip vibes I get from the store, it’s almost like my own personal happy place. One of the aspects of Lululemon I enjoy most is the “LULULEMON MANIFESTO.”
If you don’t know a thing about this place, you’ll know almost everything you need to know just from the manifesto – I can’t help but to be inspired by it. I think it is quite magnificent and find myself striving to live my life like this, it’s nice to see a company reaching out and grabbing hold of the power of positive thinking and balanced living – Spreading the love in a very powerful way!

A few of my favorites from the manifesto are:
1. Successful people replace the words ‘wish’ ’should’ and ‘try’ with ‘I WILL.”
2. Your outlook on life is a direct reflection of how much you like yourself.
3. That which matters the most should never give way to that which matters the least.
Does this manifesto speak to you? You can download your own PDF copy of it here:

I printed it and hung it on my wall here at work as my daily reminder to breathe deeply!
Be sure to stop by Lululemon at The Streets at Southpoint and let me know what you think!
