After 12 great days, the GURU Fav’s
Sweepstakes is ending!
But I think we’re going out on a high note, with one of my all-time favorite retailers sending us off: Madewell!
I blogged about this amazing store when it opened in July. (You can read my post HERE)And to be honest, I’m just as excited about Madewell (Macy’s Wing, Lower Level) today as I was back then! I love how easily they’re able to make the layered look seem so accessible and easy to pull off.
Plus, the bold hues, colors and patterns are just so much fun to have in my closet. Everything is very feminine and girly-girl, but not so much so that you feel uncomfortable. It’s just the perfect balance of casual and playful, comfortable and bold, preppy and hipster.
However, the thing they are most known for, are their jeans! Which brings me to today’s GURU Fav, the Madewell Skinny Ankle Jean, which I just about live in! No matter what look you’re going for, you’ll find a color to suit you.
This Saturday, 12/22 at Madewell, they’re doing a special bounce-back offer for 20% off denim in the new year. (valid 1/1/13-1/21/13) So now you really don’t have an excuse for not going!

Love their jeans!
I love their skinny jeans I’ve never been to this store, ill had to make that a place of interest when i go shopping! I love the dark denim and the orange hue pants very nice! I’m putting outfits together in my head now!

Madewell is a very appropriate name for this store! The good news is that the items in this store are also stylish and upbeat. The jeans featured are a huge draw to this store, but there are so many other terrific items to check out that a shopper needs to set aside some time to peruse everything available. We are lucky to have this store at Southpoint!
