When I work out, I want my clothing to be comfortable, look good and most importantly, do some of the work too. Which is why today’s GURU Fav is the Long Sleeve Twist Top from Athleta (Center Court Lower Level)!
Made with runners in mind, it fits tightly around your torso, so if you want a looser fit, get the next size up. As you can see below, there are multiple colors to choose from, no matter your style.
Mine fits perfectly and even though I wear it constantly, it still wears perfectly even after dozens of washes. I love it for this time of year with the cold weather.
The seamless design won’t chaff and it’s great as a base layer in this chilly weather- I love the thumb holes for this very reason! Plus, it’s super soft and comfortable and because the special Meryl Skinlife fabric whisks away the moisture, so you stay dry and odor-free.
I can’t say this shirt will make you want to work out more, but just knowing that I have a good looking, comfortable top like this helps me get out the door.
The ultimate work out top? Maybe. But I can say it would make someone very happy if they unwrapped it this season!

The thumb holes sell me! I really love the design and material of this shirt too. Throw in the variety of colors and the whisk away moisture component and you pretty much have a perfect shirt!

Guru-you are picking all my favorite stores, and introducing me to new ones that I love just as much now! I have several pairs of pants from athleta, but no tops…yet! My newest obsession from there are their polartec power stretch pants-they are lined with fleece and so cozy!

I do Zumba workouts so this would be a very comfortable shirt to wear while dancing for an hour! I have never heard of Atheta, so this would be a new store for me to try when buying workout clothes. Amanda, you would be amazed at how much a nice workout outfit (or two.. or three) can make you WANT to work out more. Or at least, not dread it as much.
