Celebrate TAX FREE WEEKEND with a FREE CONCERT!! Every Saturday night at Streets at Southpoint from 6-9pm, you can sit outside and enjoy some fantastic free live entertainment. As far as I’m concerned, it’s one heck of a great way to spend an evening in Durham or ANYWHERE in the triangle for that matter. Grab your friends, some snacks and a comfy chair and you have the makings of a memorable weekend!
So, who’s taking the stage tomorrow!? The Music on Main Concert Series is going Country this weekend with:
Southbound 85
Southbound 85 is a group of guys with one goal in mind: to play great country music that people can dance to!
Southbound85 prides themselves on having something for everybody. If you’re looking for some of the classic standards from Merle Haggard, George Strait, and Hank Jr., they play them. If you’re looking mainstream chart toppers like Toby Keith, Brooks and Dunn, and Garth Brooks, they play them. If you’re looking for new country hits from artists such as Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, and Eric Church, well, they play those too! You may even catch a few classic favorites from artists such as The Temptations and Van Morrison. And who can forget the great southern rock anthems from artists like Lynard Skynard or 38 Special!
Point is, Southbound 85 has something for everyone. With the ability to span across the generations and to reach audiences of all ages with their energetic performances, you can always count on a quality performance that will be loved by all.
