Father’s Day is the PERFECT day to brag & the father I want to brag about on Father’s Day is my husband. We have 4 children under the age of 10 and I could spend a lifetime bragging about what an amazing father he is to them. He is a hands on dad helping with everything from homework to singing tips. Thank you so much for the chance to win & give my husband the credit he deserves for being the best dad!!
My dad has always been very supportive of myself and my sister. All the dance recitals, dramatic teenage meltdowns, etc… Living with three females can’t be easy for anyone but he survived the wrath! Good job!
Father’s Day is the day to celebrate the special men in our lives! This Sunday we will celebrate our best dad around! We celebrate him because he is a hard worker, loving husband, encouraging, fun dad and a true, loyal friend to many. He is an example to other Fathers what a daddy is suppose to be like. Thanks for offering a great gift to a great dad out there!
Fathers Day is just one of the days of the year that reminds me of my Dad and how much I love him. Even though he died almost 20 years ago, I remember the special fishing trips we took together when I was very young. He was a very special person and I miss him every day.
My Dad raised my sister and I as a single parent. He has given up just about everything for my sister and I to have a wonderful life. My Dad is my role model and I love him more than anything. A gift card to maggianos would be a great gift for my Dad because our family loves food, especially Italian
.
The truth is, Fathers Day didnt used to mean a whole lot to me. Yeah, it was a day for my father to relax and get lots of presents, but that was pretty much it for me, another day to scramble for the perfect gift. Last year, my father was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and everything changed. The even slight possibility of losing my father became the most important thing. This is the man who used to put his leather jacket on me when I was little and freezing. He used to put me up on his shoulders so I could see the parades as they went by. He came to visit me regularly in college when I was at my whits end. When I got my new job, he surprised me with a new laptop and video camera to help me on my way. Hes the greatest man Ive ever known. He recently had his surgery and Im proud to say he is a cancer survivor. Yes, June may hold the actual holiday but, to me, now, everyday is Fathers Day.
My dad has raised my sister and myself, doing most of the work himself!
i’ve got 3 amazing “dads” in my life: i have 2 amazing dads (my biological dad & my stepdad) and my husband is an amazing dad to our 4 kids. i love these men and we all love maggianos. thanks for this contest!
My Dad rocks! Growing up he worked two or three jobs to support our growing family, I am the oldest of six! Yet, he still found time to attend our many sporting events, dance recitals, or to just take us fishing. He treats my mother with the utmost respect, which has set the stage for my successful marriage. And now, he is best grandfather! He is retired and loves to spend time with all his grandkds-he has 15 with one the way! I know that he has regrets that he worked so much, but all I remember is him being there when I needed him! Thank you dad!
Father’s Day means spending a lot of time with my dad – especially now since he’s getting older, and I live over 1,000 miles away from him
Fathers Day is a day about spending time with your dad. For me, the holiday has never been one about the cards, neckties, sporting good gifts or buying a gift, but just the extra time to spend with my dad and tell him how much I appreciate him. While I was growing up and still to this day my dad has been such a role model for myself and my brothers. He has always been one to support us in all that we do and teach us about the value of life. When my dad was growing up he was what most would consider living in poverty. He recieved his clothing and food from the school in brown paper bags. His father was in the military and his mother worked day to day to support their family. When raising my two brothers and I my dad always taught us the value of a dollar but also made sure that we had some of the nicer things in life because he never did. He always tells us that he told himself growing up that if one day he could afford new cars, dinners out with the family or family vacations that he would make sure to do those things with his family. My dad is one of my best friends and has definitely taught me the value of a dollar, but more about family and the importance of spending time toghet.
For all the years, all 52 that I have known my father, there has never been a time when he did something for himself. He has always been looking after the 4 kids or taking care of my very sick mother. I would love to treat him to a feast and what better place than Maggiano’s?
My father is the most amazing man that I know! He worked two jobs the whole time I was growing up. Working a 8am-5pm job coming home sleeping for a few hours then getting up at 11-6 to work a nighttime shift. He did this for over 10 years….he has now become a amazing “Papa” to my three children! I love him more than words can describe. I can’t say how much I appriecate everything that he has done and given up for me so that I could have a better life! Thank you Dad!
Father’s Day is a day for setting time aside from the hectic schedule and priorities of life to remind dad how much he is appreciated and loved. My dad’s the best because he worked hard to give us the American dream.

Father’s day means a day to spend time with my dad. He worked tirelessly to put a roof over our heads with his single income. This was for a family of six, so it wasn’t easy with an average job.
My dad is 62 and still runs his own business (an auto shop) working 6-7 days a week, 12-14 hours a day on his feet! He’s my hero!!
The most amazing father in my life is the father of my 2 children. My husband is such a wonderful father to his sons. I would love to be able to take our family out for a meal at Maggiano’s!
Father’s Day, still means so much to me. I lost my Father Dec. 2011…
I will continue to celebrate him and honor him with my thoughts and actions. He taught me how to never give up, do my best and was a very hard worker. This year as my little family celebrates my husband’s dad..I will smile and not be sad thinking of my father…and be thankful for the 36 yrs I did have with him.
Father’s day is a day to reflect on what a wonderful father my husband is. He is kind and caring and gives my children new memories every day. He is truly amazing!
This is my 2nd father’s day. In these two years I have grown to appreciate with a greater depth the love and support my father gave me. He worked hard to raise and guide me, but he always allowed me pursue my own goals and dreams. He gave space, but was always there to catch me when couldn’t handle it. That is why my dad is the best, and I hope I can be the same for my kids.
Brand new Daddy that has to go it alone many nights of the week and he’s awesome about it!
Fathers Day to me is the one day out of the year where it is totally dedicated to my Dad. For all of the sacrifices he has made over the years, always putting his family first. It’s the day we can spoil & pamper him & show our appreciation. The same for my Husband as well.
Father’s Day is to honor the father’s and father figures who have played an instrumental part in a child’s life. And even the women who are playing both roles of mother and father. I think my husband exemplifies what a wonderful selfless father he is by serving his country and loving his children unconditionally. He has shown them resilience, loyalty and has honored me with his love and I pray all my children have someone in their futures just like him.
Father’s Day ..I will be celebrating my husband, who means the world to me and our daughters. A wonderful provider and friend. I lost my Father Dec 2011 and will not be sad…but thankful and smile for the 36 years he was in my life and all that he taught me.
To me Father’s day is a day to honor our dads for all the hard work they do to take good care of us this fathers day makes the 10th Fathers day without my dad since he
passed away unexpectedly in 2001 and he was a good man, my favorite thing about him was that no matter how insignificant the topic he always listened to what I said not just heard me. Now though I celebrate it with my husband and our two young daughters, he has given up much time with us in the past working out of state for over two years to be able to provide for us and when he is home I couldn’t ask for a better dad for my girls he is giving and kind and very loving with them. Fathers day is just the little note we need on our busy schedules to pause and say thanks for all you do for us, we love you!
We should be thankful for our dads everyday, but for this special occassion I want to take the time to express how much my husband means to myself and our children. He is our rock and is the strongest person I know. We lost our first born when she was 5 months old to a birth defect and without his support and love I would not be the mother I am today to 2 beautiful healthy children. He not only supports me and my family, but he also protects your family too as a soldier in the United States Army. His job does not allow him to spend every fathers day with us, (this year is the first one in 2 years) but no matter where he is he is always in our hearts and prayers because we love him dearly.
My dad is special to me because he has not always been in my life. But I have learned to forgive and let go, and now I enjoy having a father.
The greatest thing my father taught me was how to be a great father. He did this without trying or even realizing the by-product of his everyday advice and guidance. Each year, he would encourage my brother and I to call our grandfathers to say thanks. It wasn’t until I was with my 7 year old son and 5 year old daughter choosing a card for my father that I realized what I was truly thankful for. This Father’s Day, I will celebrate my children too. Without them, I would be just another guy. Because of them, my own father’s love and wisdom will continue to grow through all of us.
My dad is the best because even though he spent most of our childhood in the army and sometimes deployed he always made time for my sisters and I! Whether it be for long drives to Maryland or traveling around Germany we always had an amazing time with him! Even though we’re all grown up now (relatively speaking of course) we always know we’re welcomed at home with our dad there waiting! He’s amazing, funny and has a laugh like Oscar the Grouch which we always point out!
This is my third father’s day without my dad. I miss him so much! But his legacy of faith and strength and hope will be passed on to my children and will never be forgotten. He fought a battle with cancer for almost 20 years, and he never complained. He will always be my hero. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband and three children. We will celebrate Father’s Day by cherishing each precious moment we have together.
My dad is the best because he taught me how a husband should treat his wife and children!
Father’s Day is a reminder to let my father and my husband, who is a new father, know that they are loved, respected and doing a wonderful job as fathers. My dad is one of the most giving and generous people I know, not just with our family but with everyone he encounters. He goes above and beyond and is a great role model in his community and as a father.
I love celebrating the fathers in my life . . . grandfathers, dad, husband, brother. They are amazing men!
My Dad has been an elementary teacher for over 30 years. His passion for investing in our future is inspiring!
My dad is the best because he’s my dad. (Duh!) Father’s Day has always meant spending time with him – usually a baseball game or something. This year Father’s Day will mean spending time at Maggiano’s with the $50 gift card I’m going to win from this random drawing.
My dad has been there for my two sisters and I from day one despite my parents being divorced. He gave me my sarcastic sense of humor, love of the beatles and horror movies, unconditional love, as well as being an all around positive male remodel who is now passing on his wisdom to my amazing two year old daughter!
This year, I really want to express how thankful I am for my daddy! He just underwent extensive cardiac bypass surgery last week very far far away from me in California, and I am so so sad that I cannot be there to take care of him because he is in a lot of pain recovering! He has done so much for our family, and I love him so much! He is the best dad in the whole wide world. Happy Father’s Day, everyone!
Fathers day is a time to remember those great dad’s who took the time to help us all grow up with love for their family.
My dad lives several states away, but he visits us a couple of times a year. He just left last week from a two-week visit, and I miss him. He’s always so supportive of me and my sister, and he’s a terrific grandfather. We chat on the phone almost everyday. I love you, Daddy, not just at Father’s Day, but all year through!
Being a father is the greatest feeling ever, and no matter how macho you think you are, if your toddler comes up to you with a play phone, you answer it! Lol
We dot get to celebrate fathers day…my husband and I are both in the service industry and spend our day taking care of other families out to celebrate. We are used to this and know it’s the lifestyle we chose. However this fathers day will be my husbands first…so even though we will not celebrate this Sunday, I want to make it extra special for him because he has been an amazing partner and an amazing father…we don’t have any family close by either so it’s to do this all on our own has brought our marriage closer together and has made me fall in love with him even more.
My dad’s motto is, “it’s hard work, working hard,” and he taught me that to be successful, it’s not necessarily smarts or luck that are most important, it’s hard work. On Father’s Day I give my dad a break from all his hard work.
Father’s Day is the perfect day to show your love and appreciation to the men that step up and handle their responsibilities. I would like to say to my husband of almost 6 years thank you for all you do. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and my husband was there from day 1. He accompanied me to all my chemo treatments and dr visits. He waited on me hand and foot while I was recovering. He is definitely one of the best husbands out there and he never asks me for anything but always tries to give me and our daughter everything we want.
My dad is no longer with us, but I think about him on Father’s Day and remember what a great dad he was, always giving unselfishly.
The dad in my life now is the father of our children who is special in so many ways! He is such a hard worker, loving and giving of his time, the list just goes on and on!
My husband is a kind, loving father. He has raised two children who have become confident, successful young adults. His warmth and gentle spirit shines in them today. I am so proud of the father that I call my soulmate!
My dad is not in my life, but my husband is an awesome father. He is very generous with his time and affection, and he sacrifices himself for his family.
