Belk and Wacoal Fit for the Cure

Belk at the Streets at Southpoint is reaching out to the community for a great cause. On May 2, 2012, the store is joining forces with Wacoal of America to “Knock Out” Breast Cancer. By encouraging women to allow experienced fit specialists to fit them on this very special date, proceeds will be given to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research. No purchase is necessary to participate in this event as $2 will be donated just for participating in this program.
These complimentary fittings will not only encourage awareness and contribution to research efforts, but allow the 80% of women wearing the wrong bra size to correct the problem. Belk is a strong advocate for the research efforts of Susan G. Komen and honoring those who are fighting or have lost their battle with the disease. Fit for the Cure is just one of the many contributions the company has fully committed to supporting. As a company, this event in conjunction with Wacoal of America will make a minimum guaranteed donation of $250,000.
Capri Blue Striped Tote Bags will be gifted to shoppers who make an $80 Wacoal/b.tempt’d purchase (while supplies last). Appointments are recommended but walk-ins are welcome! The corporate bra fit specialist from Wacoal will be there from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Intimate Apparel Department.
